Kyiv Camerata

The National Ensemble of Soloists “Kyiv Camerata”, founded in 1977, has firmly held a top position in the cultural landscape of Ukraine and boasted of being the first to perform numerous works by contemporary Ukrainian composers.

Kyiv Camerata comprises highly skillful musicians, each of whom is a virtuoso and a soloist. It is a team with a clear mission – promoting Ukrainian music in all its distinctive styles, trends, and compositional schools.

Although the ensemble’s repertoire continues to expand, it already includes a broad spectrum of music, ranging from the ancient works of baroque maestros to contemporary compositions.

The National Ensemble of Soloists has repeatedly performed in Poland, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Italy, Austria, Germany, Switzerland and many other countries.

Keri-Lynn Wilson is the founder and Music Director of the highly regarded Ukrainian Freedom Orchestra, which has toured major cities and festivals of Europe and the United States over the past two summers. It was formed in response to the Russian invasion of Ukraine. The Ukrainian Freedom Orchestra’s recording of the Beethoven Ninth Symphony, conducted by Maestro Wilson, was released by Deutsche Grammophon to commemorate the second anniversary of the invasion. The orchestra will embark on its Beethoven Ninth Freedom Tour of leading cities this summer.

Ms. Wilson’s career as a conductor of opera and symphonic music includes many of the world’s leading opera houses and symphony orchestras. Among the opera companies she has conducted most recently are the Royal Opera, the Metropolitan Opera, the Paris Opera and the Deutsche Oper Berlin. Amongst the orchestras she has most recently led are the NHK Symphony, the Symphonieorchester des Bayerischen Rundfunks, and the Bruckner Orchestra of Linz.

Over a rich and varied career, Ms. Wilson has conducted, amongst many other orchestras, the Los Angeles Philharmonic, the San Francisco Symphony, the Wiener Kammerorchester, the Russian National Orchestra, the RAI Symphony Orchestra, the Salzburg Mozarteum, NDR Radiophilharmonie, Toronto Symphony and l’Orchestre Symphonique de Montreal.

Grammy Award winner Joyce DiDonato has towered to the top of the industry as a performer, a producer, and a fierce advocate for the arts. With a repertoire spanning over four centuries, a varied and highly acclaimed discography, and industry leading projects, her artistry has defined what it is to be a singer in the 21st century.

Recent and upcoming highlights include the premiere of Tod Machover's Overstory Overture as Patricia Westertord at Alice Tully Hall and Seoul Arts Center. In June 2022, Joyce joined the Metropolitan Orchestra for a European tour. Her performance was described as "the embodiment of musical perfection"(Wochenglatt Reporter). Joyce opened The Metropolitan Opera's season performing in Jake Heggie's Dead Man Walking as Sister Helen. In concert, Joyce appears with her hometown Kansas City Symphony Orchestra for a series of subscription concerts, as well as performances in Istanbul, Strasbourg, and Paris.

Victoria Miningham, Founder and Artistic Director of Victoria Opera House, made her operatic debut with The New York Grand Opera in the production of "La Boheme." The New York Times heralded Victoria as a “Saucy, beaming Musetta." Victoria has performed in Opera Houses and Concert Halls worldwide as Violetta in "La Traviata," Mimi in "La Boheme," Gilda in "Rigoletto," Countessa in "Marriage of Figaro," and Fiordiligi in "Cosi fan tutte." 

Victoria believes in the universal principle to enrich lives and make the arts accessible. She is proud to be a SAG, EQUITY and AGMA member.

While performing in Vienna, Victoria Miningham, founded Victoria Opera House in 2016 with the ambition to share her passion of classical music and the arts. Based in New York City, Victoria Opera House makes accessible a wide variety of the most prestigious singers and performers from around the world.

For 75 years it has enriched the cultural and spiritual life of the Ukrainian diaspora while also generating enthusiasm in the American and European public. With a wide repertoire, including Ukrainian folk, classical and sacred music, the chorus has performed at Carnegie Hall, Alice Tully Hall, Avery Fisher Hall, Town Hall, Madison Square Garden, the Brooklyn Academy of Music, St. Patrick's Cathedral in New York, the Kennedy Center for Performing Arts in Washington, D.C., the PNC Bank Arts Center in New Jersey, as well as concert halls of many European capitals, among them, the Royal Albert Hall in London. In 1990, the Chorus made a successful concert tour of England, Austria, Germany, France and Ukraine where it was received with great enthusiasm in Kyiv, Lviv, Poltava, and Kaniv. The first musical director of the Chorus was L. Krushelnycky. His work was continued by O. Mykytiuk, R. Stepaniak, I. Zukowsky, I. Zadorozny, I. Sonevycky, A. Bernyk and S. Komirny. Since 1991 "Dumka" has performed under the direction of Vasyl Hrechynsky.

The Ukrainian Chorus Dumka of New York consists of approximately 50-60 members.

It performs at various venues throughout the year.

Bohdana Pivnenko is the General Director, Artistic Director and Soloist of the National Ensemble of Soloists "Kyiv Camerata".

The Honoured Artist of Ukraine.

Professor at the Tchaikovsky National Music Academy of Ukraine, Bohdana Pivnenko has performed as a soloist with leading Ukrainian orchestras and presented Ukrainian music around the world, including Berliner Philharmonie, Zurich Tohnhalle, Basel Musiksaal, Gewandhaus Leipzig, Weill Hall Carnegie Hall,  Palau de la Musica Catalana, and many others, and at festivals, as “Berliner Festspiele MaerzMusik”, “Europaisches Klassik Festival”, ‘Kyiv Music Fest’, “The Warsaw Autumn”, ‘Nostalgia’, Malta Festival, “Contrasts”. 

She regularly participates in premiere performances of works by contemporary Ukrainian composers. She presented the author's program of Valentin Silvetrov’s ‘Melodies of Moments’ together with the composer. 

Her recordings include Anthology of Contemporary Ukrainian Music, 11 CDs of music by Ukrainian composer M.Skoryk, V.Silvestrov, E.Stankovych, V.Zubytsky, Z.Almashi, I.Shcherbakov, O.Levkovych. 

Most recently, her Ukrainian Quintet, featuring music by Lyatoshynsky, Silvestrov and Poleva, was released by Naxos in 2020.

Many of leading Ukrainian composers have dedicated works to Bogdana Pivnenko.

Among them are Valentin Silvestrov “Songs without word” and “Triptych” for violin and piano, Yevhen Stankovych Violin Concerto No.4, Volodymyr Zubytsky Violin Concerto No. 1 and Zoltan Almashi “Seasons” for violin and orchestra, Viktoria Poleva“Soul” for violin and orchestra.

2017 has received title “Merited artist of Ukraine”.

Finished National Music Academy of Ukraine and post graduate study in National Music Academy of Ukraine, where he was studying with professor Vsevolod Vorobyov. He is Prizewinner of National Piano Competitions, finalist of 1st and 2nd International Piano Competitions in memory of Vladimir Horowitz. From 1999 he is working with National Ensemble of Soloists “Kyiv Kamerata”. Dmytro took part in Music Fest (Kyiv), “2 days and 2 nights” (Odessa), 1st Festival of modern music (Yerevan, Armenia), Days of Ukrainian Culture in Germany (Berlin), “New Music Marathon 2005” (Prague, Czech Republic), “Warsaw Autumn” (Poland). Cooperation with many orchestras as soloists, among them Warsaw Philarmonic (conductor – Jacek Kaspszyk), NOSPR Symphony orchestra.

As “Kyiv Piano Duo” with Oleksandra Zaytseva Winners of International Piano Duo Competition CMF (Paris, France), XIX Schubert International Piano Duo Competition (Czech Republic), International competition “Piano six hands” (Marktoberdorf, Germany), V International piano Duo Competition in Kaunas (Lithuania), Valberg International Piano Duo Competition (Valberg, France), Edvard Grieg International Piano Duo Competition (Oslo, Norway). Concerts in Ukraine, Russia, Denmark, France, Poland, Hungary, Czech Republic, Netherlands, Switzerland, Kuwait, took part in  Tavaszi Festival (Budapest, Hungary), festival “Virtuoso” (Lviv, Ukraine), “Copenhagen Summer Festival” (Denmark), Schubertiade (Roskilde, Denmark), Ohrid Summer Festival (Macedonia), “Beszady bez granic” (Sanok, Poland), “Music Premiers of Seasons” (Kiev, Ukraine), “Kiev Music Fest” (Kiev), “W Live” (Lviv).

Duo has cooperation with Henrik Svitzer, Andras Adorjan, Pierre-Yves Artaud for flute seminar in Denmark.

Performing wide repertoire for piano four hands, two pianos, concertos with orchestras. Cooperation as soloists with many orchestras of Ukraine and abroad.

Kiev Piano Duo released CD with Schubert's music for piano four hands.

Kateryna Suprun was born in 1991 in Kyiv, graduated from the Lysenko Kyiv Special Music School. In 2009-2014 she studied at the National Tchaikovsky Academy of Music with Professor Kulakov.

Kateryna Suprun is the soloist of ‘Kyiv Camerata’ national ensemble of soloists, winner of international competitions, recipient of the Levko Revutskyi Prize  for the promotion of Ukrainian music, Presidental Grant Laureate 2017, and first performer of more than 15 works by Ukrainian composers written for viola. As a soloist, she has collaborated with many National Orchestras of Ukraine.

She was the violist of ‘Danapris String Quartet’ that successfully toured around Ukraine, Japan, Portugal, and Austria.

She recorded a CD of Ukrainian viola music for viola solo together with Golka Records (Lviv), which included works by the greatest composers of Ukraine - Valentin Silvestrov, Evgeny Stankovich, Oleksandr Levkovich, Bogdan Kryvopust and Zoltan Almasy. The CD was presented in October 2022 at the famous festival ‘Musikprotokoll’ in Graz, Austria.

As a soloist and member of chamber ensembles, she performed in such well-known European halls as the Berlin Philharmonic, Bremen die Glocke, Gevandhaus Leipzig, Laetshalle Hamburg and others.

Kateryna has participated in festivals such as: 'Contrasts' (Lviv), “Bouquet Kyiv Stage” (Kyiv).

'Kyiv Music Fest' (Kyiv), 'Premiers of the Season' (Kyiv), 'Two Days, Two Nights' (Odesa), 'New Music Touchpoints' (Portugal), 'Musikprotokoll' (Austria), Days of Ukraine in Poland, Mishima Contemporary Music Days (Shizuoka, Japan), and others.

Dmytro Kuzmin was born in Sevastopol. He studied at Simferopol College of Music named after P. Tchaikovsky.

In 2015, he graduated from the the National Tchaikovsky Academy of Music (class of Professor O. Kudriashov), after which he continued his studies as an internship assistant (class of Professor V. Kachmarchik).

Dmytro is a laureate of Ukrainian and international competitions.

Since 2016, Dmytro Kuzmin he has been working as artist in the National Ensemble of Soloists “Kyiv Camerata”.

He has collaborated with the National Symphony Orchestra of Ukraine, the Ukrainian Radio Symphony Orchestra, and New Era Orchestra.

The musician’s repertoire includes solo and chamber works of different eras and genres, as well as music by Ukrainian composers, in particular: Yevhen Stankovych, Volodymyr Zahortsev, Ihor Shamo, Vitaliy Hubarenko, Zoltan Almashi and others.

Dmytro is the first performer of “Dances on Flowers” by Yevhen Stankovich in the author’s arrangement for flute and chamber orchestra.

Seth Kaller, Inc. owner of Historical Documents & Legacy Collections collaborates with USA for Ukraine in a special showcase of rare White House Press Office mimeographs from the day FDR delivered the speech or proclamation, each uniquely signed and inscribed by FDR to his confidant Missy LeHand. In lead up to the United States Semiquincentennial (250th anniversary) on July 4th, 2026, USA for Ukraine will have these on special exhibition at our concert venues.

Dom Master Klass is a Ukrainian cultural center, established in 2007 in Kyiv, Ukraine.

The founders are Kyivans: Evheni Utkin - a businessman, IT industry pioneer in Ukraine, a public figure, and Iryna Budanska, an educator.

Dom Master Klass is a non-profit organization that sees its mission in the development and promotion of Ukrainian culture in Ukraine and abroad.

Over 17 years of its activity Dom Master Klass has created and organized thousands of concerts, hundreds of exhibitions, films and theatre performances, lectures, and dozens of festivals both in Ukraine and abroad.

The grandest project of Dom Master Klass is the Art Festival Bouquet Kyiv Stage, established in Kyiv in 2018. This is an international, multidisciplinary, non-commercial, socially oriented cultural event held annually in the summer in Kyiv in an iconic location - Sophia Kyivska, and abroad.
